"CATCH in plan to expand in spite of recession."

Humber Bank companies supporting CATCH are pleased to see the success CATCH has generated for the region.  From small beginnings this £8m project has continued to grow in terms of apprenticeships offered by the likes of ECITB in partnership with the Grimsby Institute, The Hull College, HETA and TTE.  The workshops are now running at full capacity and more space is required for the implementation of additional apprenticeships in 2009.  Our Conference Centre is busy, despite the recession, and offers excellent facilities in an industrial setting managed by a small team of dedicated professionals to ensure your experience is a memorable one. We are pleased to see regular customers returning again and again to enjoy the surroundings of this unique facility in our region.  This measureable succes has instigated a planned review of existing resources and an exploratory look at additional facilities for this growing business.  WATCH THIS SPACE IN 2009!!!

NEW Process Technician Apprenticeship recruitment started for Sep-09 at CATCH.

A NEW apprenticeship launched by a partnership of like-minded Humber Bank Client companies has started plans to find the first group of trainees.  Led by ChemSkills a project from Humber Chemical Focus a unique programme has been written and approved for this new apprenticeship on Humberside at CATCH.  Chosen to deliver the programme is Hull College, who are already at CATCH delivering other similar bespoke training programmes.  Around 20 places exist for chosen trainees and open evenings in Hull and Stallingborough are planned to provide more information.
