We believe that by working together we will be able to unlock the potential that exists within our region's people and workforce, and make the difference that counts.

General questions we are often asked

- Who do you work with?
- What does the term 'authentic training' mean?

  • Q: Why does CATCH exist?

Q: Who do you work with?
A:We work in collaboration with industry and training providers to consistently develop innovative training and competence assessment solutions to meet industry needs. We are looking to promote the highest standards of safety behavior and to be nationally recognised as a 'best-in-class facility'.

Q: What does the term 'authentic training' mean?
A: We believe that when training, development and assessment is carried out in an authentic industrial environment another dimension is added to the learning process. This dimension will better equip the local workforce and bring success to their respective employers. 'Authentic' means that the facility looks and feels like a real plant with full-scale equipment and industry-standard working procedures - but no chemical hazards.
