  • 2000 m2 process area on 3 levels
  • Vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, instruments, power
  • No chemical hazards (water only)
  • Equipment is full-scale, much of it donated from local industry
  • Lift access to all floors
  • DCS control system (3-15psi, 4-20mA and Field Bus)

Activities carried out in real time

The process plant is divided into areas to allow different activities to run concurrently including basic process operation on live circuits; mechanical, electrical and instrument installation and maintenance, rigging and plant condition monitoring are all training options. Safe access to the plant area is controlled at all times by CATCH Technicians using industry-standard methods, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
